1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Hit the Road Dude (the "Service", at hittheroaddudeai.org), you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy and Acceptable Use Policy. Do not use the Service if you do not agree.

2. The talking video tool

You choose Pond Pickup, Couch Spot, Front Porch or Golf Cart and provide one photo of a cat or dog. This tool is for pet photos, not photos of people. The tool requests a fictional scene in which the subject tells an off-camera visitor to leave their spot, points outward and makes a dismissive gesture, ending with a closer view. New clips are vertical 9:16, with your choice of Standard or Pro, 480p or 720p, and 8 or 15 seconds. The default is Standard, 720p, 8 seconds. Original English dialogue is delivered by a fictional generated voice. Eight-second requests use a concise prompt; 15-second requests use the full sequence. The selected duration is requested from the model, not created by trimming a longer clip. For 8 / 15 seconds respectively, Standard costs 10 / 20 credits at 480p and 20 / 40 at 720p; Pro costs 20 / 40 credits at 480p and 40 / 80 at 720p. The cost is shown before you start. AI models can vary the subject's appearance, movement, anatomy, setting and sequence; an exact likeness or exact performance of every requested action is not guaranteed.

The Service does not reuse footage or recorded speech from an existing video, imitate a real person's voice or supply licensed music. Scene previews are still images, not finished videos made from an uploaded photo. The 8-second example video is an owner-supplied illustrative clip, not proof of a result generated by this site.

Generation uses third-party providers. Photos and completed clips must pass automated sexual-content checks. If an input check cannot complete, generation does not start and reserved credits return. A clip awaiting its check remains hidden; if its task ultimately fails, times out or is rejected, its credits return. These checks do not identify every form of prohibited content. Features, subjects, models and providers may change. We will give reasonable notice of a material reduction in the Service when possible.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 to create an account or generate a clip. Use an available sign-in method, keep your credentials safe and tell us promptly about unauthorized account use. You are responsible for activity under your account. Registration does not include free credits or a free trial.

4. Permission to use a photo

By uploading a photo, you confirm that:

• you own or have permission to use the photo for this AI transformation;
• the owner of the pet shown in it has agreed;
• it does not show anyone under 18, a celebrity or a public figure;
• you will not present the fictional clip as genuine footage or use it to deceive, harass, sexualize, threaten or defame anyone.

You are responsible for how you share the result. We may refuse generation, remove content, or suspend or close accounts that violate these rules. Credits already used for completed generations are not refunded solely because an account is suspended.

5. Credit packs and payment

• Credits are sold in separate, one-time packs. There is no subscription, automatic renewal, credit transfer or same-day upgrade of an earlier pack. A previous purchase does not reduce a new pack's price.
• 20 credits for $9.90; 60 credits for $19.90; 100 credits for $29.90. The pack and price shown at checkout apply. The provider identified at checkout processes the transaction under its own terms.
• For 8 / 15 seconds respectively, Standard costs 10 / 20 credits at 480p and 20 / 40 at 720p; Pro costs 20 / 40 credits at 480p and 40 / 80 at 720p. You can mix available models, resolutions and durations within your balance. For the same model and resolution, 15 seconds costs twice as many credits as 8 seconds. The credit cost confirmed before each generation applies to that request; completed orders and generation records retain their original pricing snapshots.
• Purchased credits never expire. Their purchasing power depends on the credit cost at the time of generation. Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred or resold, except for refunds under the Refund Policy.
• Errors, timeouts and safety-filter rejections return the affected credits automatically. A completed clip you do not like is not a failed generation.
• Within 7 days of purchase, a completely unused pack is eligible for a full refund; a partially used pack is eligible for a refund of unused credits at that pack's per-credit purchase price. After 7 days, or for used credits, refunds are unavailable except for failed generations, billing errors or rights required by law. Report incorrect or duplicate charges within 30 days. Refund requests are handled manually.

6. Prohibited use

In addition to the photo rules and Acceptable Use Policy, do not use the Service to create sexual content or any content involving a minor; impersonate a real person or misrepresent the origin of a clip; infringe copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other rights; promote violence or self-harm; or create illegal, hateful, harassing or fraudulent content. Do not probe, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the Service or bypass safety checks, access controls or rate limits.

7. Your uploads and results

Your uploads remain yours. You give us limited permission to store and process them to operate the Service, including sending relevant media to generation and safety providers. We do not use your photos to train our own models.

Subject to these terms and the rights of others, including anyone shown, you may use completed clips for personal or commercial purposes. AI results may resemble other outputs and are not guaranteed to be unique. You are responsible for checking the rights needed for your use. Keep an "AI-generated" label when sharing and follow the receiving platform's rules.

Generated dialogue uses a fictional voice and original lines. It is not permission to imitate a real person's voice or performance. We do not provide or license third-party music, and you are responsible for the rights to anything you add. Uploads are temporary as described in the Privacy Policy. Saved-clip and account deletion are manual requests, not self-service features.

8. Independent service

Hit the Road Dude is an independent AI video tool. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the owner or creator of any source meme, vehicle brand or social platform. No such affiliation or endorsement is implied by a fictional scene.

9. Availability

The Service is provided on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, a completion time, an exact result or the continuing availability of a particular model or provider.

10. Ending access

You can stop using the Service and request account closure by email. There is no self-service account deletion button. We may suspend or close an account for violating these terms, fraudulent chargebacks or conduct that puts the Service, its users or people shown in content at risk. A suspended account cannot sign in. Sections 4, 6, 7 and 11 continue to apply after closure.

11. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without express or implied warranties to the fullest extent permitted by law. To that extent, our total liability for a claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages. Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The revision date appears above, and material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after a change takes effect is subject to the updated terms.

13. Contact and deletion requests

For terms questions or a request to delete a saved clip or close an account, contact hewqbx@gmail.com from your account address, or submit a support ticket. Verified deletion requests are handled manually within a reasonable time. No fixed response time is promised.
