Acceptable Use Policy

What you can't create with Hit the Road Dude, how we check photos and clips, and how to report a clip.

Hit the Road Dude animates a photo you upload into a short video clip. It's an AI photo animation tool. Videos are generated with the Seedance video model.

Who can upload

You must be 18 or older. Only upload a photo of a pet you own, or have the owner's permission to use. Don't upload photos of people, including minors, celebrities or public figures.

What you may not generate

  • Pornography / NSFW. Sexual or pornographic content, including nudity in a generated clip.
  • Violence / gore. Graphic violence, gore, or content made to shock or threaten someone.
  • Hate speech. Content that attacks or dehumanizes a person or group.
  • Child-unsafe content (CSAM). Any sexual or exploitative content involving anyone under 18 is prohibited.
  • Deepfakes / impersonation of real people. Clips that impersonate a real person, celebrity, or public figure, or that present the result as a genuine recording of someone who did not take part.
  • Copyright / trademark infringement. Content that copies someone else's copyrighted work or trademark.

How we check photos and clips

Your photo must pass an automated check for sexual or nude content before generation, and the finished clip must pass a check before it is shown. This check does not identify every kind of content these rules forbid. It does not by itself tell us that a photo shows a minor, a celebrity, or a copyrighted character. You are still responsible for the rules above.

If the check refuses a photo, we do not generate it and we do not charge credits. If a finished clip fails the check, we do not show it and we return its credits. If the photo check cannot be completed, generation does not start and reserved credits are returned. If the clip check cannot be completed, it stays hidden while we retry; if the task ultimately fails or times out, its credits are returned.

Report a clip

Email hewqbx@gmail.com. Include the clip link or the account email and tell us what's wrong. If someone used your photo without your permission, say so and we'll remove the saved clip. We review every report.

What we do

  • A refused photo isn't generated, and no credits are charged.
  • A finished clip that fails the safety check isn't shown, and its credits are returned.
  • We can suspend accounts that break these rules. A suspended account can't sign in.
